History

Cortec originally raded under the name of Building Automation and Controls Services Pty Ltd, but a change in name was made in early 2004 to reflect the overall company philosophy; to provide services that encompass a building or facility's core technologies. Cortec provides a ranges of services that ensure your buildings or facilities operate at their optimal efficiency, maintaining occupant comfort while maximising energy conservation.

Mid 2004 also saw the formal addition of a range of extended services which comprise the commissioning, testing and balancing of HVAC systems. While these services were available in an informal capacity previously, the decision to actively pursue this market is a a reflection of our belief that to provide the highest standard of building services operation requires the understanding of the entire process. Our unique experience and knowledge in the way buildings work enables us to provide a comprehensive range of truly cohesive system commissioning, testing and balancing services.
